The databases are not available for the time being due to the need to perform maintenance on that portion of the website. Please check back later.

In order to get past the problem with "bridging" the main website to the databases, I have completely separated the two. That means that the appearance and the login for the Beezley databases will be completely separate. You can get there by clicking on the "TNG Databases" tab above.
All current project users should have your login for the databases enabled. You should have the same login and password for this webpage and the databases, but you will need to enter the login separately. If you have problems or questions, let me know. For each login, you will have a chance to recover your password if you don't remember.
For new users, I have not provided a way to register directly for the Databases. New users should use Project Member Registration link to the left and I will manually set up the database account.

After a flurry of digesting new data and updating the 7 Beezley databases, I have been back to some attempts at organization and publicizing. Please join me in chuckling. "Organization" is all relative. But then, so is genealogy! (bada bing).
The biggest news is that Kristina has found the parents and family for her Henry H Beezley who married Sarah Noblet, the granddaughter of James and Elizabeth Beezley. This has been a big breakthrough for her and suggests the possibility of finding the link for Henry and James that has already been established by YDNA testing. Kristina has been too busy to devote a lot of time to genealogy, but hopes to get back to it when her classes are done.
Besides the advances in the James Beezley (Elizabeth Russell) line, we continue to develop the databases for Josiah Beezley, James Beezley (Mary Sheperd), Capt. John Beezley, Rev. William T H Beezley, and now the Thomas Beezley line that combines Isaiah and Silas Beezley as sons of Thomas (b 1771).
We still eagerly search for male Beezleys (or Beasley's in some cases) who descend from one of the untested lines (Josiah, James (Mary), Rev William, and Thomas). Some of you who are members of this project DO qualify. Let me know if you are ready to take the step.
As for the website... still in transition. A few months ago, I had given up on the software that unifies the operation of the website components, but not very satisfied with the results. Now, the programers tell me they are very near a breakthrough, so I'm patiently waiting.
Presently, you need to log in to the website in order to see the database link. Then you need to log in again to get into the databases. Not everyone is set up for that second login, so if you find you are not able to access the databases, please let me know.

The TNG Databases is now available in simple form for registered users. Just click on "TNG Databases" above. The article links don't contain anything, but the "Surnames" and "Search People" links to the left will get you into any part of the databases.

It has been a while since I have posted on the Front Page of the Beezley Project website. So, here's what is new.
We now have 7 separate databases. Some of the clusters in LooseBeez have been growing enough that I've separated them into their own workspace. Of course, they are all still cross-searchable. Here's what we have:
- The largest database is the Capt. John Beezley, born 1745 (my own) also known as the "Northern Tree". This grouping has been DNA tested and comes from the four sons and three daughters of Capt John Beezley (mother unknown) who settled in southern Ohio with his family and spread the name across the US.
- Second largest consist of the descendants of James Beezley, born 1793 married to Elizabeth Russell and also Henry Beezley, born 1837, who married a granddaughter of James and Elizabeth, Sarah Noblet. Both James and Henry are now known to be from the same line as proved by DNA testing. This is also known as the "Southern Tree" because descendants settled almost entirely in Missouri and Texas.
- The third largest database consists of the descendants of Josiah Beezley, born about 1801, who married first Charlotte Napier and second Rachel Ramsey. Their descendants settled almost entirely in Missouri. This line has not yet been DNA tested.
- Next are the descendants of Rev William T H Beezley. He has one son confirmed whose descendants settled mainly in Texas. Rev. Beezley was a Confederate soldier in the Civil war and legend has it that he was part of a larger family that split up over allegences in the war. It seems likely that this line is to grow with the likelihood that he had more sons and siblings. There is also the question of whether he connects with other lines as this one is also not yet DNA tested.
- The next new line consists of two lines from LooseBeez that were recently connected through information from project members and further research. Isaak, born 1797 and Silas, born 1805 are now known to have been brothers, whose parents are yet unknown. They appear to have mostly settled in Indiana, Illinois and Iowa, though later generations migrated to Texas and Kansas.
- The sixth line, also newly separated, begins with James and Mary who had one known son, John who was born in 1852. Their descendants were mostly in Missouri, but later spread to other southern and western states. This was orignially part of the line (Southern Tree) developed by Kristina, but she has determined that there is nothing to establish a connection.
- Finally, the seventh database, remains as the LooseBeez. Presently this database consists of over 1200 individuals in clusters of less than 20. This is an ever-changing database as new isolated records are added and later forming clusters within LooseBeez, or linking up with one of the other databases.
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions, suggestions, or wish to contribute more information.
